Since our goal at Amaltas Senior Care is to approximate the care given by a loving family, every Senior is assigned an Angel — who is the primary interface with the family. Our Angels are all well-schooled and well spoken. They are cheerful, caring and compassionate, engaging and entertaining, intelligent and innovative, patient and perseverant, responsive and reliable. It takes a special person to be an Amaltas Angel!

Simran

Simran is the founder of Amaltas Senior Care.

She loves people, animals, and the outdoors — in no particular order. A high-energy and infectiously positive person, Simran has a robust happiness gene, and believes in the axiom, “Be the change you want to see in this world.” She works closely with NGO’s in the area of mental health, education and animal welfare.

A Masters in Business Administration, Simran has worked with companies like Bata, Madura Coats and Fabindia. She has consulted with the craft industry and with high fashion, and has taught at leading design institutes like the NIFT and the NID.

Amaltas is her favourite tree.

Anju

Anju is a self-motivated individual who find joy in helping others. She takes pride in whatever she undertakes, and commits the best of her abilities. She strongly follows the motto “No one is totally right or totally wrong in this world,” so “Live and let live.”

After a long tenure as a teacher at Delhi Public School, she is currently pursuing her passion for painting and studying Fine Arts. She draws her inspiration from real life, and finds divine peace in painting. She has participated in several art exhibitions. 

Anju also has an active interest in poetry, which helps her channel her emotions in the form of words.

She is a firm believer in the importance of communication. The Banyan is her favourite tree.

Anju

Niti

Niti is originally a Mumbaiker. A people’s person, she buzzes with energy that she gets from being with people, visiting places, listening to music, working at fitness, watching movies, following fashion, and reading.

She has been a part of the hospitality & service industry for many years, working with The Lalit Group.

Spontaneous and with a keen eye for detail, she likes being around energies that “Make the Soul Shine!”

In her journey she has learned that If you don’t wake up in the morning excited to pick up where you left your work yesterday, you haven’t found your calling yet.

Niti is “totally metropolitan” and enjoys traveling. She is inspired by Maya Angelou’s words — “I’ve learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.” Her favourite tree is the Banyan.

Fay

Fay likes spending time in bettering the environment and trying to make people aware of good earth stewardship and healthy, green, lifestyle choices in their everyday lives. Care for community issues including animal welfare is close to her heart. Being loved by her family and other animals means everything to her.

Fay has spent years in the Travel Industry, curating and arranging trips into the Indian Himalayas and river expeditions kayaking or rafting on major rivers of the world. She enjoys the excitement of arranging a detailed trip for adventure lovers and urging people to get out there and see the wonders of nature.

Fay subscribes to the Dalai Lama dictum, “Be kind whenever possible, it is always possible.” Nothing impresses her more than kindness. Her favourite tree is the Silver Fir.

Juhi

Juhi believes she embodies a child’s heart and a retired-person’s soul. On the one hand she craves the lost pleasures of the slow life — reading the newspaper at a leisurely pace each morning, long walks sans the mobile and the earphones, endless chai pe interesting charcha with friends — and the list goes on. On the other, she maintains a bucket list of things she wishes she can do or learn in life, which may explain why this forensic accountant is also a trained shoe maker.

Juhi hopes to see a world based on absolute respect for all human beings, where we find more reasons to unite than divide us, and a reverence for all other living beings, and nature.

And when it comes to trees, her favourite is the majestic Shalmali. There is one outside her house, planted by her grandfather.
